Regular flights will begin on the Minsk-Petrozavodsk-Minsk

 Regular flights will begin on the Minsk-Petrozavodsk-Minsk route on May 3, 2026. An agreement to develop transport links was reached as part of strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Karelia. Direct flights are intended to facilitate the maintenance of family ties and business contacts. Approximately 10,000 Belarusians live in Karelia, and the regional national and cultural autonomy is actively functioning. Period: May 3 to September 13, 2026. Schedule: Sundays. Carrier: Severstal Airlines LLC. Aircraft: Bombardier CRJ-200 (50 seats). Travel time: 1 hour 40 minutes. The new route will make travel between the regions faster and more affordable.
