For the information of taxi passenger transporters, the Stolin District Inspectorate of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties draws the attention of taxi passenger transporters to the fact that when transporting passengers by taxi, payments are accepted using a cash register combined with a taximeter, with an installed tax authority control device, or a software-based cash register. Legislation requiring the use of cash registers and/or card payment terminals does not apply to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs accepting cashless payments for taxi passenger transport services ordered and paid for through an electronic information system using bank card details only. When accepting payments for passenger transportation services by taxi, ordered through an electronic information system, in cash and/or by bank card, business entities are required to use a cash register combined with a taximeter, with established tax authority controls, or a software-based cash register. Administrative liability is provided for violating the procedure for using cash register equipment and/or payment terminals when providing services, as well as for failing to use such equipment and/or terminals when providing services. Repeated (two or more times within 12 consecutive months) violations of the established procedure for using cash register equipment and accepting payment methods constitute grounds for exclusion from the "Register of Occasional Passenger Transportation Services."
