To prevent fires and related fatalities in the town of David-Gorodok and the Khoromsky, Remelsky, Lyadetsky, and Beloushsky rural executive committees, a special preventative event, "Fire-Free Home," will be held from August 25 to 29, 2026. Emergency Situations Ministry personnel will conduct a comprehensive fire safety assessment of homes and inform residents about the consequences of neglecting safety regulations. Specialists will also remind residents about the inadmissibility of leaving young children unattended, the dangers of smoking in sleeping areas, and the need to install and maintain autonomous smoke alarms in living spaces. Particular attention will be paid to homes and apartments of residents most at risk of fire. The main goal of the event is to convey to every resident the importance of observing fire safety regulations and to prevent fire tragedies. Remember: the safety of your home is in your hands!
